The Network of Excellence on Land Governance in Africa (NELGA) will organize its 2nd International Knowledge Forum (IKF2024) from 25 to 27 of September 2024 at the Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine Hassan II, in Rabat, under the theme “Geo-Intelligence: Smart Land Governance for resilient territories”

Sharing knowledge and experiences in the field of sustainable land governance based on the principles of sustainability of means and solutions
Foster Collaboration:
Promoting South-South partnership and technology transfer in land policy and geo-intelligence tools by involving academia in the process of responding to the demands of the new digital age.
Drive change:
We drive change by advocating for better land policies. Together, we can influence decisions that support sustainable development and equitable land use for all.
Promote sustainability:
The development of a platform for sharing best practices in sustainable land policy and resilient territories in response to the African Union’s research agenda.
Empower Synergy
The creation of a nucleus of synergy between academic and professional players in the field of land tenure, geo-intelligent tools and sustainable systems.
Improve paradigms
Capture innovative knowledge in order to strengthen the enabling environment for the promotion and development of intelligent systems associated with land governance paradigms.
